Businesses shifted over the years from employees physically going into work every day to nearly 100 percent virtual remote workforces. As the way we work has shifted, we’ve seen a dramatic increase of enterprises needing to deploy or expand their existing Horizon end-user computing environments to accommodate these new realities. This created new challenges in the security landscape. The traditional network perimeter is no longer enough and boundaries have been blurred, requiring a ubiquitous and consistent security framework for these remote workers. VMware NSX provides a platform for centralized and consistent security policy across all workload types within the datacenter. In this session, we’ll go through the use cases VMware NSX provides for VMware Horizon end-user computing environments and show a few demos of the actual security policy in action.
